Summative Evaluation

My ten years experience working in diverse classroom settings prompted me to further my knowledge in the field of education. After receiving my Masters in education and Innovation at Webster University, I began working in a behavioral special education classroom. These were my first experiences navigating through barriers to education learners. It was then I realized that furthering my education and research could make a difference as to how educators can function more effectively in our diverse

learning environments.

Areas of Personal Strength

My three areas of strength are resilience, critical thinking and dedication to education. I have faced adversities throughout my doctoral journey and because of my resilience, my doctoral journey will be completed. I have used my critical thinking skills as one of my most valued tools to become a successful doctoral candidate and skilled educational leader. Finally my dedication to the field of education will continue to guide me to create positive long term learning experiences that foster transformative  learning outcomes for all students.

Areas of Further Improvement

I want to publish more articles about teacher advocacy and engage the community more regarding social justice in education. I feel that I need to have a broader platform for community action and education DEI so that I can help improve our classroom environments.
