About Me

My mission is to empower educators and inspire learners. I believe in advocating for teachers to create a better learning environment. 

I am a doctoral candidate at Webster University, in St Louis Missouri. My program of study Doctorate of Education emphasis in Transformative Learning in the Global Community.

My research interests include diversity and inclusion in the classroom and curriculum development for teacher enrichment. I started my career in education as a medical lab instructor in Columbia, SC. Shortly after I acquired my bachelors degree in social work.

I became a medicaid case manager at The Department Of Social Services in Lexington, SC . I furthered my educational studies at Webster University and received my Masters of Arts in Education and Innovation. I have been employed at Richland School District Two since 2014. During my career I have worked  as an administrator, teacher and substitute teacher.
