Implications on Research or Impact in the Field: The impact I intend to have is to assist our teachers and students in overcoming obstacles created by inequality. I want our educational environment in South Carolina to have a functionality that accepts DEI as an ideology and methodology that is encompassed in our course curriculums. I want to integrate DEI as a means to create more highly skilled teachers and well rounded students which can help us create a more cohesive society

The goal of my research is to improve the overall condition of South Carolina primary education classrooms environment and eliminate obstacles for marginalized students.
